Pilates is a highly effective body work-out that simultaneously targets and strengthens multiple muscle groups, creating a strong, balanced and flexible body. All our movements originate from the center of our body, and are supported by deep abdominal muscles, pelvic floor muscles, glutes, and stabilizing (back) muscles along the spine. The main goal of Pilates is to develop and strengthen these core muscles.
